Every US Bio-Clean employee has passed a criminal background check and is drug tested annually. Russ Haedt

Managing Partner

Russ is a managing partner with US Bio-Clean. He is also a firefighter, paramedic and hazardous materials technician with the Phoenix Fire Department, where he has proudly served for over 20 years. Russ concurrently serves in a national capacity as a hazardous materials specialist assigned to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Arizona Task Force 1. Prior to joining the fire service, Russ served in the U.S. Marine Corps as a nuclear, biological and chemical warfare defense specialist. Russ has been involved in the hazardous materials industry as both a first responder and educator since 1988. He has contributed to the curriculum development and instructed the following educational courses:

  • Emergency Response to Domestic Biological Incidents, Louisiana State University, National Center for Biomedical Research and Training
  • Public Safety WMD Response – Sampling Techniques and Guidelines, Louisiana State University, National Center for Biomedical Research and Training
  • Emergency Medical Services – WMD Incident Response, FEMA, Emergency Management Institute
  • Integrated Health and Medical WMD Training Program, US Public Health Service, National Domestic Preparedness Consortium

Marc Austin

Managing Partner

Marc is a managing partner with US Bio-Clean, primarily responsible for overseeing its transportation team in all industry-related matters. He is also an 18-year veteran of the Phoenix Fire Department, where he serves as a firefighter, emergency medical technician and hazardous materials technician. Marc concurrently serves in a national capacity as a commercial driver, assigned to the Federal Emergency Management Agency, Arizona Task Force 1. Marc has been heavily involved in the hazardous materials industry as a first responder for over 20 years, and he has held a commercial driver’s license with hazardous materials endorsement for over 15 years.
